My back aches, my arms are sore, and it kinda hurts to breathe right now. I worked my little butt (er, big butt) off. Yesterday, the hubs and I dug in to all the projects that have been on the back burner the past few months. We cleaned out the garage, and I organized my bedroom and bathroom. We're planning a garage sale in the next few weeks and now I have a very LARGE box of clothes to sell.

We also had this dumpy old TV stand that we were getting ready to sell at the garage sale. It was missing a knob, and one of the doors were broken, it really just needed some paint, glue and new knobs. I gathered up my strength on a whim decided to give it life again. I painted it white, and put on new knobs, fixed the door and it looks brand new! I would pay good money for this at a store. I'm so proud of myself for diving in. At first thought, it didn't occur to me that painting it would take all that long, I mean really - how hard would it be to throw on some paint? But it was much more difficult than that, getting the paint even, in all the crevasses. It was a tough job! Poor Carter was not at all interested in watching us organize and paint. Good thing he took a few longer naps then normal.
I forgot to take a before picture, so here is a "before" pic that was taken during the makeover process, and the after result. And Carter not so interested in his little 80's rocket car thingee that I find hideously ugly.
Happy Memorial Day Peep's! Off to a BBQ later at the parent's house, and we have a few more things to do around the house. Pics to follow!
